October Videos

Grant clapping

We got a video of Grant's 6 teeth!

Hard work...sitting up on his own!

This isn't as funny anymore, since there's a whooping cough outbreak in California but...
We like to say Grant has whooping cough. He loves to cough and wait for a reaction. He also laughs if you cough back. He loves this game!

Aaron and I joke all the time about how funny it is that we have such a loud, talkative boy when we're both fairly introverted. This is Grant having a conversation with me after his dinner one evening. :)

7 Months!!

Grant turned 7 months old on October 19th...the same day that his baby cousin Max was born! It's so hard to believe that 7 months have passed! We are enjoying Grant more and more everyday. He's recently started to wave, clap, and sit up on his own from laying down (which means he now pulls himself up and sits in his crib and plays instead of going to bed)! Such a big boy!

Love his face in this one!
LOL!
Always trying to get the camera strap these days!
This one also cracks me up! Not the best picture, but it makes me laugh!
Loves his toys!
It's hard to use the signs anymore. He just wants to play with them!
Round face!

Baby Max!

Grant has a 1st cousin! He's no longer the BABY in the family! My sister, Sarah, and her husband, Justin, welcomed their son into the world on Tuesday, October 17th! Maxwell Warner Untersee is exactly 7 months younger than his cousin, Grant! Max was born at 5:08pm, weighed 6 pounds 11 ounces (soooo not fair!), and was 19.75 inches long. Everyone is happy and healthy. I'm hoping to go visit them in November with my mom and Grant. I can't wait to give Max a million hugs and kisses!

Playing with Dexter!

Grant has always been very interested in Dexter, but the past few days he's really started to play with him! Grant doesn't throw the toys yet, but he'll hold them up and wave them around until Dexter jumps up and grabs them. It's the cutest thing ever! Grant always looks super proud of himself too after Dexter takes the toy!

Okay so this picture isn't Grant playing with Dexter, but how cute did
he look this morning when I went in to get him out of bed??
So proud of himself!

October

I hate making a post with a bunch of random pictures, but when I don't update the blog for a month that's what happens! Here are some cute pictures from the past month!

All dressed up and ready for church!
This is the cute face that greets me every morning when I go to get Grant from his crib!
Big tears! Poor baby :-(
Deana Rose Farm with Jamie and Claire
Go Tigers!
Homemade avocados
Yummy!
First time using a sippy cup
LOL! I shouldn't laugh, but this just cracks me up! We know Grant's always had a hard time actually sucking, so he couldn't get the water out of the cup!
This is our son throwing a fit!
All better!
(Although he never did get any water out of it this day.)
A little help from Mommy...notice the tears running down his cheek!
Playing with Daddy
What?! :-)
He kept looking over his shoulders at me!
I guess he really is outgrowing his 12 month clothes and size 3 diapers!
Always happy during and right after his bath...
Check out my new hat!
Grant and Great Uncle Gee
Game Day!
CROP Walk with the youth group
He likes to ride with his feet up!
Exhausted after the 3 mile walk!
Such a goofball!
He started out on his blanket with his toys and ended up over by the couch.
He can't crawl yet, so he just rolled his way over there!
Dexter thinks the Boppy belongs to him!
This was hysterical. We had just gotten home, and Dexter was in his cage. I put Grant down outside the cage to look at Dexter while I made his bottle. I looked back over, and he was unlatching the door! Grant really opened the cage door on his own, and Dexter took advantage of the situation and out he ran! Smart boy (and smart dog!)!!

Eating "vegetables and beef" for the first time.
Of course he ate it, but it's definitely not his favorite!
Flip flops our friends got us when we were in Australia in January
My boys!
